Pick up is also welcomed from our physical shop in Berlin. We have a large inventory of classic components acquired over the last 15 years. However, if you would like to make some small changes (saddle, bar tape etc), more often than not this is quite possible. We’ve set the bike up according to our taste, with a view to preserving the classic look and style. The bike is in good working order, and there are no technical issues. The bike was assembled by us in our Berlin workshop, where will undergo the standard final inspection before shipping. The cockpit is comprised of a classic short 3ttt stem with matching 40cm handlebars. Aero seat post matches the group set, and it is topped with a classic ’90s San Marco saddle. Group set is the classic Campagnolo Record 8 speed, with a newer 1996 Campagnolo Atlanta rims and Record hubs. The Olympic was well known for very funky, arabesque paint schemes and especially the famous Art Decor pattern. The 1991 Colnago Master Olympic shares with its predecessors the famous crimped tubing, designed by Gilberto Colombo to make the frame stiffer and more reactive. The Master also represents the apogee of the steel era in the bicycle industry. With this frame, Colnago confidently positioned himself on the summit of steel frame design. Introduced in 1983, five subsequent iterations of the Colnago Master were the top offering until 1998 (Master 1983, Master Pi 1988, Master Olympic 1991, Master Light 1994 and Master X-Light 1998). The iconic Colnago Master is undoubtedly the evergreen of cycling.
